Blur will headline Poland's Open'er Festival next year.

Blur
Festival organisers have announced, "In the November greyness, the overwhelming pessimism, crisis in Europe in Poland and the growing opportunism, faced with the dominance of mainstream and catering for the least ambitious tastes and the conviction that 'we can't do it', again, it's time to say stop. Today, we're starting another countdown to Open'er, where we'll prove that we're only interested in all that is important and interesting in modern music, as well as all things of value in the modern art, once again to prove that there's so many of us.

"I love this moment: the first headliner, the first announcements, as they take us into the next festival year, the more so when we make dreams of so many festival fans come true, and rise to their expectations with the first artist we announce. Ladies and Gentlemen, Blur are the first Heineken Open'er 2013 headliner."

Offering festival goers some top international musicians along with a host of Polish music and theatre acts, Heineken Open'er Festival takes place in Gdynia-Kosakowo Airfield, Gdynia, Poland for four days between Wednesday 3rd and Saturday 6th July 2013.

Early bird tickets are on sale, at the following prices:-
- 4-day ticket with camping: 450 PLN (approx. £84)
- 4-day ticket without camping: 370 PLN (approx. £71)
- 1-day tickets (any day) are priced at 189 PLN (approx. £37).
