Kiss for Download 2013?

According to the Metal Talk website, (here), flamboyant face painted American rockers Kiss will be be Friday second stage headliners at the 11th Download Festival which happens at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2013.

The article states:

"Kiss are understood to be headlining the second stage at Download Festival on the Friday June 14th..

They have already confirmed appearances in Scandinavia from June 1st to 11th including the Sweden Rock Festival. The Donington show would be their only UK concert in 2013 as part of the European Tour promoting their new album 'Monster', as exclusively reported by MetalTalk back in July 2012."

There has been no confirmation from Download about the appearance of the band who last appeared there in 2008. The first acts confirmed are the headliners Slipknot on Friday, Iron Maiden doing their 'Maiden England' set on Saturday, and German industrialists Rammstein on Sunday. Download will offer three days of heavy rock music with more than 100 acts over multiple stages at Donington Park, the spiritual home of rock!

Tickets are priced at £165 for a weekend arena ticket, £190 for 3 nights with camping, and £195 for 5 nights with camping. Family camping is also available, and advance parking is priced at £20.

A Weekend Arena & 5 Night Camping ticket can be paid for over 3 payments and are available to any customer buying a ticket between 13th June 2012 and Monday 31st December 2012 at 23:59. The first (non-refundable) payment will be £50, with a second payment of £70 per ticket made On or around Monday 28th January 2013 at noon, and the final payment of £70 made on or around Monday 29th April 2013.
