exclusive: first acts announced for Wickham Festival 2013

eFestivals can exclusively reveal that Seth Lakeman, Roy Bailey, and Shooglenifty are the first acts to be confirmed for next year's Wickham Festival taking place from Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August 2013.

The 5,000 capacity festival returns to the Hampshire village of Wickham, in Hampshire just east of Eastleigh and just north of Fareham and features live music on three stages plus a 'Groovy Movie' cinema tent, digital funfair, street theatre, storytelling, comedy, real ales festival, exotic foods fayre, Late Night Festival Club and entertainment for all ages with camping.

The first batch of 500 'early bird' season tickets have now completely sold-out but a further 500 4-day weekend season tickets go on sale today (Friday) priced at £100 for an adult weekend ticket, with under-16s being half-price and under-10s free - a saving of £35 on every adult ticket (£17.50 on under-16 tickets). Camping tickets are priced at £25 per tent or caravan for the whole weekend, and day tickets also being on sale with prices from £25 adult, £12.50 under-16s. Under-10s are free throughout.
