comedian Frank Skinner has been announced for this year's Greenbelt where he will be appearing in conversation in the Greenbelt Big Top on the Saturday of the festival which happens at Cheltenham Racecourse, Cheltenham over bank holiday weekend from Friday 24th to Monday 27th August 2012.

Further new additions to the comedy programme include Frank Skinner, The Behemoth, Mike Wozniak, and Folk On.

The line-up also includes literary luminaries including Jenn Ashworth, Phil Grieve, Harry Baker, Simon Morden, Kate Charles, Philip Gross, Thomas Lynch, El Gruer, Padraig O Tuama, and Sh'Maya.

As well as music and performing arts, the festival hosts a wide range of talks with speakers including Andrew Tate, Casper Melville, Giles Fraser, Mark Townsend, Kepow Theatre, Mary Grey, Richard Coles, Shane Claiborne, Tayo Aluko, Thomas Truax, Simon Mayo, Ruth Gledhill, Erwin James, Gideon Levy, Rita Nakashima Brock, Rose Hudson-Wilkin, Tom Wright, Lucy Winkett, Ian Cron, John Bell, Tess Ward, Diarmaid MacCulloch, Rebecca Parker, Dave Tomlinson, Kathy Galloway, Hannah Lownsbrough, Tess Ward, Kate Coleman, Abdul-Rehman Malik, Ruth Gledhill, Thomas Lynch, Stella Creasy, Tim Winter, Raphael Zarum, David Nussbaum, Ben White, Christopher Barnatt, Hugh Warwick, and more still to be announced.

Greenbelt is an all-age Arts Festival with its roots in the Christian faith and a welcome that's wide and inclusive. It's a place to learn, to experience, to be. It's like nothing else in the world, and that's what keeps thousands of people keep coming back year after year.

Greenbelt features a great range of music on 5 stages and showcases brand new artists and bands. In addition, the Festival hosts a selection of varied talks, workshop and debates; exploring contemporary issues, faith, social justice, politics ­and more.

Greenbelt also has a visual and performing arts programme, exploring a variety of alternative worship styles, and runs a daily Children's Festival.

Tickets are on sale. An adult weekend tickets is priced at £120; Concessions £75; Under 18s Ticket (5-17) £65; family ticket (2 kids/2 adults) £310. Infants aged 0-4 years can attend for free but still need a ticket. Days tickets are now on sale ranging from £15-£60.
