The South, formerly known as The Beautiful South on the Main Stage, and Northern Ireland's Foy Vance on the Hothouse Stage lead the latest acts added to the line-up for the ninth edition of the Scottish Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

A mystery SPECIAL GUEST has been added to the main stage line-up on the Friday evening. "The identity of this artist will not be revealed until they appear on the Garden Stage at 1830 on Friday 3rd August," said festival promoter Joe Gibbs. But, and here's a hint - "judging by their previous receptions at Bella, they're going to be a popular choice."

Also confirmed for Bella are Man Like Me (live), The Magnetic North, Dog Is Dead, Karima Francis, Rae Morris, Marc O'Reilly, Ellen and the Escapades, alongside Scottish acts The Ballachulish Hellhounds, Hoodja, Make Sparks, Zombie Militia, Feis Rois, and TMC Youth Fiddlers.

Singer songwriter Lianne La Havas has had to cancel her performance at Belladrum due to US touring commitments.

They join headliners Travis, and The Wombats, plus Beverley Knight, Frightened Rabbit, Buzzcocks, Vintage Trouble, Willy Mason, Lanterns On The Lake, We Are Scientists, Slow Club, Fink, Treacherous Orchestra, Juan Zelada, Ryan Keen, Bastille, To Kill A King, Nina Nesbitt, Rachel Sermanni, Mad Dog Mcrea, Red Sky July, Bombskare, MacFloyd, Gerry Jablonski, The Little Mill Of Happiness, Niteworks, Grousebeater Sound System, Stanley Odd, Fatherson, The Dangleberries, James Mackenzie & the Aquascene, Ian McLaughlin & The Outsiders, The Whisky River Band, and The Red Kites.

Bella has sold out the last three years and in 2011 the festival sold out months before the event so fans are urged to buy early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets are priced at £95 each (+ booking fee) with Saturday day tickets priced at £65. Campervan/Caravan tickets are priced at £50, along with a new ticket for 2012 offering camper/caravans electrical hook-up, and child aged 12 years and under tickets are free (maximum 3 children per adult).
