The first wave of comedians has been revealed for the line-up at this summer's End Of The Road.

"Along with this beautiful weather," said the directors, "we are happy to announce our latest additions for the comedy amphitheatre in the woods. Alongside festival favourite Robin Ince and his Book Club we've also got Alex Adelman over from 'The Big Apple' and Doc Brown who used to be in a band with Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse amongst many other wonderful additions."

The comedians confirmed are Alex Edelman, Robin Ince's Book Club, Doc Brown, James Dowdeswell, Joey Lycett, John-Luke Roberts and Nadia Kamil aka The Behemoth, John Robins, Liam Mullone, Robin & Partridge, Robin Ince, Sarah Bennetto, The Storytellers Club with Sarah Bennetto & friends - late night session, Thom Tuck, Tom Bell, and Tony Law.

The festival which happens at Larmer Tree Gardens, Tollard Royal, Salisbury, in Wiltshire on Friday 31st to Sunday 2nd September 2012 has previously confirmed headliners Grandaddy, and Grizzly Bear are making their only UK festival appearance, and Tindersticks are co-headliners. Also confirmed are Midlake, The Low Anthem, Alessi's Ark, Cashier no 9, Dirty Three, John Grant, Alabama Shakes, Willis Earl Beal, Dirty Beaches, Jonathan Wilson, Lanterns on the Lake, Roy Harper, Veronica Falls, Beach House, The Antlers, I Break Horses, Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard, Justin Townes Earle, Moulettes, Robyn Hitchcock, Anna Calvi, Villagers, 2:54, Deer Tick, The Mark Lanegan Band, Pictish Trail, The Shivers, Yeti Lane, Abigail Washburn with Kai Welch, Cold Specks, Dark Dark Dark, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Islet, Toy, and more.

Tickets sold out last year. Early birds sold out in five hours. An adult ticket is priced at £150. A youth (ages 13-17 years who must be accompanied by an adult) ticket is priced at £120, a ticket for children aged 6-12 years (must be accompanied by an adult) is priced at £50, with free entry for a child aged 0 - 5 years, they still need tickets can be purchased in advance. Tickets for a campervan/caravan pass are priced at £50, a car parking is priced at £TBC (payable in cash on arrival).
