The Wickerman Festival have announced additional dance acts alongside the headliners Steve Lawler, and Darren Emerson.

Headlining the '2012 - A Bass Odyssey' tent on Friday will be Steve Lawler, with a supporting cast including Ki Creighton, Dance Lady Dance vs Disco Dom, Matt Hinde, Kid Blast, David Dunne, Jamie Scahill, Crazy P, and Sonny Wharton.

With Ginny Koppenhol, Filter Script, and The Organic DJs also confirmed for that tent.

On Saturday in the 'Em-It Tent' it's the turn of Darren Emerson to headline a line-up including Ray McKinney, Rcaine, Call me T, Scott McCormick, and Liam Gordon.

Whilst on Friday the 'Em-It Tent' hosts Plump DJs, Meat Katie, Simon Jackson, Ingen, Believe, and Andy Ballantyne.

There are also more additions to the 'Solus Tent' with Bigg Tajj & Spee SixNine, Chris Devotion and the Expectations, The Cosmic Dead, Fridge Magnets, Grant Me Revenge, Hector Bizerk, Hey Enemy, Holy Mountain, Julie and the Doogans, The LaFontaines, The Machine Room, Martin John Henry, The Birthday Suit, Salo, There Will Be Fireworks, and Vasquez added to the bill.

Simon Jackson, DJ and booker for the Em-It tent said, "This year there's a great mix of genres across both Bass Camp tents this year. Up and coming DJs from across the country include one of my favourite new comers Call me T and of course there's headliner Darren Emerson, whose name has been synonymous with dance music for over 20 years. Festival goers should get ready for a party."

The Wickerman Festival takes place at East Kirkcarswell Farm in Dumfries & Galloway and takes place from Friday 20th and Saturday 21st July, 2012.

Previously confirmed are headliners Scissor Sisters and Texas, plus The View, Levellers, Newton Faulkner, Cast, Jenny O, Kassidy, Bis, Dog is Dead, Duke Special, Mike Skinner (DJ Set), Jordan Suckley, Yousef, The Blockheads, Bad Manners, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Goldblade, The Skints, Pronghorn, The Toasters, Sharks, The Vibrators, Janice Graham Band, Orange, Hearts under Fire, The Foundations, The Dugz, Davy Cowan & The Hose Beast, Kryder, D.O.D, Graeme Hawley, Human Don't Be Angry, United Fruit, Anderson McGinty Webster Ward and Fisher, and Beerjacket. The line-up goes across ten stages including the Summerisle Stage, Scooter Tent, The Acoustic Village, Axis Sound System Reggae Tent, Bass Camp, Greenman Inn, Headphone Arena, Ho Down Wendy House, Solus and more.

All ticket prices have been frozen at last year's levels until 30th June 2012. Tickets are priced at £90 including camping and car parking. Concessions (13-15 years old) are priced £45 for a limited time and will only be available online. Children under 13 go free. Caravan/campervan tickets are an additional £30 with a further £50 to this ticket price for an electrical hook up.

As always, the weekend festivities will be brought to a spectacular close with the crowd-gathering tradition of burning the 40ft Wickerman statue at midnight on Saturday.

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase).
