Micachu and the Shapes, and Man Like Me (live) lead the latest acts announced for this summer's 'On Safari' themed Summer Sundae Weekender.

Confirmed for the Drowned in Sound stage are Japandroids, and also announced are Beth Rowley, The Staves, Bastille, Her Name is Calla, Charlee Drew, Kyte, Vows, Cowboy, and Bellawave.

The Watering Hole on the morning of Sunday 19th August will be home to The Acoustic Café. This will feature performances from some of Leicester's local talent including Siobhan Mazzei, Prash Gor, The Simpletones, The Skunk-Boy Project.

The event at De Montfort Hall, Leicester offers a civilised and relaxed atmosphere, an unwavering ethical standpoint, high production values, a quality range of foods from around the world, 20 cask ales and a mean line in cocktails (all reasonably priced) at four bars throughout the site, not to mention stalls, and high calibre comedy.

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £105. A young person (14-17 years) ticket is priced at £70 for the weekend. A child (aged 5-13 years) ticket is priced at £35, and under 5s go for free.

There's an additional cost for camping tickets which are per person, not per tent. An adult camping ticket is priced at £10, a young person's camping ticket is priced at £7, a child camping ticket is free, and camper vans and caravans tickets are priced at £40 (maximum 5 people).

Summer Sundae Day tickets are on sale at 2010 prices, which means an Adult Friday ticket is priced at £35, and Adult tickets for Saturday and Sunday are priced at £45 each. Plus this year there are discounts for Young Persons (aged 14-17 years) with Friday priced at £25, and Saturday and Sunday priced at £30 each. Child Tickets (aged 5-13 years) are priced at at £12 for the Friday and £15 for the Saturday or Sunday.
