Headlining act Levellers have been announced they have had to cancel their festival appearances at Bearded Theory and Lakefest.

A statement from the band reads, "It is with great sadness that we must announce that Levellers are not able to play their forthcoming dates in Europe (25 April – 5 May) and at the Bearded Theory and Lakefest festivals in the UK in May. Fiddle player Jon Sevink from the band had surgery on a detached tendon in his finger over the weekend which was a success but has left him unable to play for a minimum of 6 weeks whilst he recupe...rates. Jon and the rest of the band send their sincere apologies to all their fans for any disappointment and inconvenience caused. They will be back in June to launch their new album and fulfil the rest of their summer commitments. European dates will be rescheduled where possible later in the year."

The Damned, and Dreadzone will still be headlining Bearded Theory which takes place from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th May 2012 at Kedleston Hall Park, Derby, in Derbyshire. System 7, The Ashan Project, Astralasia, Banco De Gaia, Terrorvision, Mad Dog Mcrea, Tarantism, Martin Harley Band, Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs, Leatherat, The True Deceivers, Show of Hands, Chumbawamba, Radical Dance Faction (RDF), The Selecter, The Urban Voodoo Machine, Credit to The Nation, The Popes, Random Hand, Kissmet, Imperial Leisure, Ferocious Dog, WitchDoktors, Rasta4Eyes, The Travelling Band, RoughNeck Riot, Tracy Jane Sullivan, Cracked Actors, Boot Hill All Stars, Karl Phillips & The Midnight Ramblers, Pronghorn, Back to the Planet, Los Albertos, and King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys, and more.

Tickets are now on sale with a weekend ticket priced at £74, 13-16 weekend tickets are priced at £40, 6-12 weekend tickets are priced at £25, children aged 5 and under are free and Family Tickets are priced at £190 (2 x adult & 2 x children). All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. No day tickets will be released for sale for the 2012 festival.

Lakefest, is a two day festival with camping taking place from Friday 18th and Saturday 19th May 2012 at Croft Farm Waterpark, nr Tewkesbury, in Gloucestershire and has a line-up including EMF, Erica, Kickback, Rainy and the Dust, 3 Daft Monkeys, Toploader, Reef, Tim Parkes, Avert Francis, Missing Andy, Smoke Feathers, Miles and Erica, Chesney Hawkes, The Roving Crows, and Dodgy.

An adult camping ticket is priced at £79, a child (aged 11-15 years) camping ticket is priced at £49. Tcikets without camping are priced at £69 for adults, and £39 for children (11-15) Ticket. Children (aged 0-10 years) can come in for free, but they must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder. A campervan ticket is priced at £30 or £50 with electric hook up. 500 day tickets are available priced at £39 for Friday, and £44 for Saturday.
