The festival which has has its license approved is held on a real, working farm, and with a family friendly atmosphere, the event is set to once again present a diverse and reputable line-up with a mixture of chart-topping acts, hot new bands, DJs and local talent including the first acts confirmed, who were The Wombats, Emeli Sande, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Mystery Jets, Roots Manuva, David Rodigan, and Goldie.

Along with the return of the silent disco and the vintage market, Lounge on the Farm 2012 will see the return of many more festival favourites along with new additions, with more announcements to be made soon.

All food and drink on site is 100% locally sourced: the cows are raised all year on Merton Farm to become the burgers and steaks served on site and all the traditional ciders and ales served at the Meadows Bar are locally brewed.
