A Day at Hop Farm will be Leonard Cohen's only UK performance in his 2012 world tour. He will perform classic songs and showcase new tracks from his No1 selling album, 'Old Ideas' during a set that's expected to be around 3 hours. The smaller scale event for 10,000 attendees will include support acts on the day.
Vince Power, the Chief Executive Officer of Music Festivals plc, said, "To get the opportunity to bring Leonard Cohen to the UK for his only appearance this year is a fantastic and humbling achievement. He is one of the undisputed forefathers of modern folk music and has honed his craft for nearly half a century. We are delighted he's decided to perform for us for what will be a truly memorable experience."
Tickets will be priced at £65 for standing, and £85 for seated tickets. Tickets will go on sale from Friday 13th April 2012. eFestivals will have links for you to buy tickets when they go on sale.
