Torch Relay finale line-up revealed for Hyde Park

Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Mark Ronson, and Katy B have all been confirmed for the Finale event of the London 2012 Torch Relay, at London's Hyde Park on Thursday 26th July 2012.

The event marks the end of the Flame's 70-day torch journey which starts on 19th May at Land's End and ends at the Olympic Stadium. The event is the last of 66 nights of celebrations that are being planned across the UK.

A 16,000 capacity event in Cardiff on Friday 25th May is the first of four large free music concerts, which mark the day when the torch visits major cities, followed by a same sized event in Glasgow on Friday 8th June. The Leeds free concert for 50,000 happens on Sunday 24th June with the Birmingham for 20,000 taking place on Saturday 30th June. The final London event on Thursday 26th July 2012 is a ticketed show for 80,000 takes place at Hyde Park. The line-up includes Dizzee Rascal, The Wanted, Mark Ronson, Katy B, You Me At Six, Eliza Doolittle, Rizzle Kicks, Wretch 32, Morning Parade, Loick Essien, and Little Comets.

The acts playing the other free events include Emeli Sande, Kids in Glass Houses, Friendly Fires, Tribes, and General Fiasco.

To apply for a free event you must register your details before 10pm Wednesday 11th April.

Entrants to the free events will be placed into a ballot and ticket winners will be allocated four tickets. Winners will receive an email from Ticketmaster explaining how to claim your free tickets. A proportion of tickets will be reserved for those living in the local areas. Only one registration per person will be accepted.

There are no age restrictions for registration, however if you will be 15 or under at the time of the event you will need to be accompanied by someone who is 18 or over. No more than three under 16s can be accompanied by any one adult.
