Foo Fighters, & The Stone Roses to headline Tennent's Vital

Foo Fighters, and The Stone Roses, are headlining this year's Tennent's Vital happening in Northern Ireland on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd August 2012, at Ward Park, in Bangor.

Making their Northern Irish debut Foo Fighters will headline Tuesday with The Black Keys also confirmed for that day. The Stone Roses headline the following day, Wednesday, with Florence + The Machine also confirmed. There are still more acts to be revealed

Aisling Duffy, Marketing Manager for Tennent.s NI, commented, "We're delighted to confirm the line-up for Tennent's Vital 2012. We knew 2011 would be a hard act to follow but the line-up announced today is in our opinion the most exciting ever seen in Northern Ireland. The prospect of seeing Foo Fighters' first ever show here, the reunion of The Stone Roses and the incredible talents of Florence and The Machine and The Black Keys over two nights in Belfast is incredible and I'm sure our fans are as thrilled as us."

Tennent's hopes to emulate the success of Scotland's T In The Park and working in partnership with MCD plan to deliver Northern Ireland its own major festival. The first acts are expected to be confirmed for the event in two weeks time, when ticket prices are also expected to be announced.

Tickets will be priced at £49.50 and are strictly limited to 8 per person/transaction they go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday 28th March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Tennent's Vital is an over 16's event. However, a parent aged 25 and over can take up to two under 16's to the show. Parents will be required to show age identification.
