There are still many more acts to be announced for the eighth Solfest which takes place on August Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August 2012.
Solfest is ran almost entirely by a group of volunteers whose aim has always been to create a festival where all generations of family can relax together, where young and old can find entertainment around every corner.
The festival includes free camping, free parking (next to your tent), plenty of food from around the world, a licensed bar (or you can bring your own), sculptures, a healing area, adult workshops, craft stalls, walkabout performances and theatre, a baby area, fire performances, an acoustic music session tent, and more.
An early bird adult ticket is priced at £85 and a young persons (aged 12-16 years) early bird ticket is priced at £60. A Thursday camping ticket is priced at £10, a child (aged 6-11 years) ticket is priced at £25, and a child under 5 ticket is free, but they still need a ticket.
