Summer Sundae announces a host of new additions

The second wave of acts for this summer's Summer Sundae Weekender have been announced and are led by Ocean Colour Scene, Death In Vegas, and Adam Ant And The Good The Mad And The Lovely Posse.

Also confirmed is Billy Bragg who will play a special set to celebrate the 100th birthday of legendary folk legend Woody Guthrie. Other acts confirmed today are The King Blues, Friends, Sway, Uncle Frank, Datarock, Akala, Hip Hop Shakespeare, Lucy Rose, Tim Edey & Brendan Power, Clean Bandit.

Summer Sundae Weekender have also announced part of their late night entertainment, which will be presented in association with dbe and Superfly. Alongside Superfly residents the line-up will include championed electro DJ duo Jack Beats and sets from Olugbenga (Metronomy DJ Set), plus DJ/ producer Pasquale and dbe resident Jake Twell.

Yesterday Django Django, The Twilight Sad, Hey Sholay, and Maybeshewill were confirmed.

They join the first wave of acts for the weekend of Friday 17th until Sunday 19th August 2012 who were Public Image Ltd. (PiL), Katy B, tUnE-yArDs, Asian Dub Foundation, Reverend And The Makers, Willy Mason, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Jonathan Richman, Juan Zelada, Lazy Lester And Friends, Dan Mangan, Rachel Sermanni, Cashier No 9, Goodnight Lenin, Grace Petrie, The Magic Tombolinos, and Y Niwl.

The event offers a civilised and relaxed atmosphere, an unwavering ethical standpoint, high production values, a quality range of foods from around the world, 20 cask ales and a mean line in cocktails (all reasonably priced) at four bars throughout the site, not to mention stalls, and high calibre comedy.

Early bird tickets are priced as follows. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £95. A young person (14-17 years) ticket is priced at £60 for the weekend. A child (aged 5-13 years) ticket is priced at £30, and under 5s go for free. An adult day ticket is priced £30 for Friday, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday. Child (aged 5 -15 years old) are priced £12 for Friday, and £15 for Saturday or Sunday.

There's an additional cost for camping tickets which are per person, not per tent. An adult camping ticket is priced at £10, a young person's camping ticket is priced at £7, a child camping ticket is free, and camper vans and caravans tickets are priced at £40 (maximum 5 people).
