Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, with special guest Roland Gift are the latest acts announced for this summer's GuilFest.

Jools Holland and the Rhythm and Blues Orchestra
The television host, former Squeeze pianist and bandleader will be joined by the former fine Young Cannibals lead singer to headline the main stage on the opening night of GuilFest on Friday 13th July.

Boogie-woogie piano master Jools Holland is set to return after last appearing at GuilFest a decade ago in 2002. He'll be bringing his famous big-band sound and will provide a foot-stomping performance as well as former Squeeze bandmate Gilson Lavis and guest vocalists Ruby Turner, and Louise Marshall.

Joining him will be former Fine Young Cannibals frontman Roland Gift. The singer had huge success with the band during the 1980s with a No. 1 UK album (1988's 'The Raw and The Cooked'), and two No.1 hit singles 'She Drives Me Crazy' and 'Good Thing' – the latter also holds the honour of being the most successful record that Jools Holland has ever guested on, after it went No. 1 in 17 countries.

They join the first acts confirmed, Saturday night headliner Olly Murs, and Jimmy Cliff. The line-up is always quality, so there's more enjoyment to be got from the bands than you might expect and there's also late night entertainment.

The festival held over the weekend of Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July 2012 features eight stages of live music hosting more than 200 acts, plus the eFestivals Cosmic Comedy Zone, Man in the Moon Theatre tent, Farmer Giles Barndance, street theatre, arts and crafts, delicious food and drink from all over the globe. For 2012's festival you can expect the return of famous stages such as the Rock Cave, the Dance Tent, the Punk Stage, and the Acoustic Lounge.

There will also be a late licensed 150 foot beer tent and cocktail bar, an extensive KidZone, an area totally devoted to fun and games with performers, rides, face painting, and even VIP guest appearances! Last year's festival featured children's icons Peppa Pig and Bob The Builder. On the Sunday there will be the annual Kids Parade, where the children get to show the rest of the festival what they have made over their weekend.

An adult weekend camping ticket is priced at £130, adult weekend tickets without camping are priced at £115, child (aged 12-15 years old) weekend with camping £80 and child weekend tickets without camping are priced at £65. A campervan ticket is priced at £60.

People aged 16 years and over at the time of the festival will have to buy an adult ticket. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Children aged 12-15 years old at the time of the festival will need to purchase a child's ticket. Children aged 11 years or younger at the time of the festival are admitted free accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.
