Leftfield, New Order, and Wilco lead the first acts announced for the second annual Forbidden Fruit which takes place in the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, in the city of Dublin, Ireland, and over June Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 2nd until Monday 4th June 2012.

Also confirmed are James Vincent McMorrow, Death Cab For Cutie, Booka Shade, The Rapture, Beirut, Death In Vegas, The Bloody Beetroots, Mazzy Star, Atlas Sound, Modeselektor, The Field, and Factory Floor, andBear In Heaven.

The list of first acts is completed by Le Galaxie, Austra, Grimes, R.S.A.G., Kool Thing, Andrew Bird, Field Music, Julia Holter, and Windings. There are still more acts to be confirmed for the five stages, including a newly added Comedy Tent.

The multi-stage music and arts festival takes place in Dublin city centre, Forbidden Fruit sees Bulmers partnering with festival organisers POD. The festival combines music, art, fashion and simple good vibes. The event will also offer food markets, fashion stalls and more. Gates: 2pm-10.45pm daily.

Early bird day tickets will be priced at 45 euros, a weekend ticket will be priced at 85 euros. Early bird tickets will be available from tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd February with limited availability.

Forbidden Fruit is an Over 18 event, photo ID will be required
