Joining them on the Thursday bill are Bellowhead, Legend, Kieran Goss, and of course the hosts Fairport Acoustic Convention who will open this year's festival.

Saturday's line-up includes special guests Big Country, plus Dennis Locorriere, Calan, Brother & Bones, Ashley Hutchings Morris On, and festival regular Richard Digance.

There are also more acts for Friday confirmed with Larkin Poe, Dead Flamingoes (feat. Kami Thompson & James Walbourne), Ellen and the Escapades, and young folkers Ioscaid joining Joan Armatrading, Richard Thompson, The Saw Doctors, and Tarras.

Hosts Fairport Convention will make two appearances opening the festival and closing the show with friends as is traditional. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Simon Nicol, Fairport's lead singer and festival co-organiser, said, "Cropredy has always thrived on variety, and we are particularly proud to feature so many younger artists this year. The music we've selected ranges from pop and rock to reggae and folk, a line-up to appeal to most tastes and age groups."

The annual festival of folk and rock music is held on the edge of the village of Cropredy, and run by Fairport Convention. This year's 32nd anniversary of the festival will take place from Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th August 2012.

Simon Nicol added, "We don't usually put tickets on sale until March, but because demand has been so heavy in recent years we've opened our box office earlier than usual. We advise festival-goers to get their orders in quickly."
