Slash, Rise Against, Megadeth, Steel Panther, Terrorvision, and more

Slash, and Sunday second stage headliners Rise Against lead the latest acts confirmed for the 10th Anniversary of Download at Donington Park over the weekend of Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June 2012.

Also confirmed are Megadeth taking to the main stage on Sunday, Steel Panther, Black Label Society on the main stage on Sunday, Billy Talent, and Five Finger Death Punch returning to Download for a third time.

Other new additions include Kyuss Lives, Terrorvision, As I Lay Dying, Fear Factory, Periphery, Ginger (The Wildhearts), and Reckless Love.

The Prodigy headline the Friday, Metallica Saturday playing their untitled 'black album' in it's entirety, and Black Sabbath will headline Sunday. Also confirmed are Soundgarden, Chase & Status, Biffy Clyro, You Me At Six, Tenacious D, Machine Head, Trivium, Lamb Of God, Devin Townsend, Devildriver, Little Angels, Anthrax, Ugly Kid Joe, and August Burns Red.

Weekend ticket prices for Download 2012 will remain the same as the prices for Download 2011 until midday tomorrow, Thursday 2nd February 2012 when all ticket types will go off sale. All tickets will go back on sale at 5pm tomorrow, Thursday 2nd February 2012 with weekend tickets increased to 2012 prices.

Early bird weekend arena tickets with 3 nights camping are priced at £170, a five nights camping weekend ticket are priced at £180 and offers access to the Download camp site from midday Wednesday, and a weekend only ticket without camping is priced at £145. Lockers are priced at £12.50, car parking £15 in advance (motorbikes are free), campervan supplements were priced at £60 and have sold out, and VIP packages are also available (VIP camping has already sold out). Day tickets will be available at a later date.
