Hot Chip will headline Friday night at this summer's Camp Bestival 2012.

Camp Bestival has announced there will be 'Saturday Night Fever' with Kool & the Gang, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers (confirmed yesterday), and Earth, Wind & Fire Experience feat Al McKay.

Other live acts include Jimmy Cliff, Rizzle Kicks, Adam Ant And The Good The Mad And The Lovely Posse, Little Dragon, Bellowhead, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, The Cuban Brothers, Breakfast with Henry Rollins (spoken word), Spector, Delilah, StooShe, P Money, Youngman, Jaipur Kawa Brass Band, Dub Pistols, The Shellac Collective, DJ Yoda & The Transiberian Marching Band, Clement Marfo & the Frontline, Scroobius Pip, Random Impulse, and Frankie Rose.

Also confirmed are Liz Green, Three Bonzos And A Piano, Prince Fatty, We Were Evergreen, 2:54, Gabrielle Aplin, Pearl And The Beard, Blues Brothers UK, Emily Barker and the Red Clay Halo, The Moonflowers, Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer, Duke Special, This Is The Kit, and Folk Idol this year will present The Folk Olympics.

For dance fans there will be DJ sets from Warm & Electric Minds, David Rodigan MBE presents RAM JAM, The Japanese Popstars, Jaguar Skills, Camo & Krooked, Greg Wilson, Zed Bias, Mosca, Ben UFO, Stopmakingme, and Balearic Brothers.

Festival organiser Rob da Bank said, "I can't believe it's still only January yet my heads firmly entrenched in a field in Dorset in July thinking about all the mighty musical offerings and other fun and games we have lined up for Camp Bestival. From Chic to Hot Chip, Jimmy Cliff to Little Dragon and Mr Tumble to Rizzle Kicks it's another very diverse line up reflecting all the different ages and tribes that descend on Lulworth Castle each year! The family friendly event return from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July, the first week of the school summer holidays, at the picturesque setting of Lulworth Castle, set against the backdrop of England's dramatic Jurassic coastline in Dorset.

Camp Bestival has a wealth of festival exclusives including Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble, Silly Olympics with Lost & Found, Shrek the Musical, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Bopps, English National Ballet, Kid Carpet and the Noisy Animals, Camp Bestival Summer Panto: Beauti and the Beast, Roundhouse Street Variety Show, and Truth About Youth. Plus exclusive food from Young British Foodies, and the Underground Restaurant.

Plus The Gruffalo show is also back with a theatrical adventure on Sunday morning on the Castle Stage. Being 747 will be performing their new scientific rock opera 'The Clockwork Universe' as well as slapstick comedy from The Bopps!, featuring Housemartins founder Stan Cullimore.

Stefan Gates The Gastronaut will be demonstrating his fantastic gastronomical experiments in the Little Big Top. Circus treats with Wookey Hole Circus, Howard Marks reading Kids Stories, Morris Dancing, and daredevil motorbike tricks on the Wall of Death.

Rob da Bank's Youth Club set up on the Isle of Wight in partnership with the Youth Trust, is coming to Lulworth to offer up a selection of music and arts workshops.

The 'Silly Olympic' themed shin-dig will include a screening the opening ceremony live in the Big Top on Friday night complete with a Camp B torch. Lost & Found will also be back as the loveable Camp Bestival Blue Coats to host their own 2012 Silly Olympics.

From pea shot-put to their signature binocular football, there'll be a wealth of crazy-Olympic games. The fifth Camp Bestival will be full of spectacle, good food, the offer of luxury camping and tons of fun for all the family with over 100 free things for kids to do and lots and lots of brand new attractions.

Early bird tickets are on sale. An adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £170 or £180 if camping from Thursday, a weekend with camping child ticket for those 15 to 17 (on 26/07/2012) is priced at £100, or £105 if camping on Thursday. A weekend with camping child ticket for those children 11 to 14 (on 26/07/2012) is priced at £85, or £90 if camping on Thursday.

All teens (aged 11 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 2 teens per adult (over the age of 30). All children under-11 (on 26/07/2012) can attend for free (but MUST HAVE a ticket). These ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.

An advance car parking pass is priced £10 per car (or £15 cash on arrival), and campervan ticket is £80 per vehicle.

Early bird tickets are available on the family payment plan with one initial payment to be made on purchase followed by 5 monthly instalments, An adult weekend ticket requires an initial payment of £30 with 5 further payments of £30. Age 15-17 weekend ticket - initial payment of £17.50 with 5 further payments of £17.50. Age 11-14 weekend ticket - initial payment of £15 with 5 further payments of £15. Campervan Ticket - Initial payment of £13.33 with 5 further payments of £13.33. Car Park Ticket - Initial payment of £1.67 with 5 further payments of £1.67.
