Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, and Katie Melua lead the first acts announced for Surrey's twentieth Hampton Court Palace Festival which takes place from Wednesday 13th until Saturday 24th June 2012.

The festival offers an audience of 3000 the chance to see performances in a majestic venue. The first acts confirmed include Katie Melua, and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons performing their first concert in the UK for 18 years.

The Frankie Valli concert will give fans the chance to hear many of the classic hit songs played live, such as: 'Big Girls Don't Cry', 'Walk Like A Man', 'Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You', 'Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye)', 'December 1963 (Oh What A Night)' and 'Grease' from the movie of the same name.

Also confirmed are Caro Emerald making her festival debut, and Jools Holland and the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Performances are held in the historic main courtyard of the Tudor Palace for an audience of 3,000 tend to begin either at 7pm or at 9pm. The events culminate in a Festival Finale with a programme of classical favourites and a firework display on the East Front Gardens.
