The Black Keys, Radiohead, and Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have been announced as headliners of the Coachella Valley Music Festival California's twin weekend event.

The line-up also features a reformed At the Drive-In, Bon Iver, Swedish House Mafia, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, Mazzy Star, Madness, Jimmy Cliff, The Horrors, The Shins, David Guetta, , Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Miike Snow, Buzzcocks, Kaiser Chiefs, Laura Marling, The Vaccines, Florence + The Machine, and La Roux.

The first day's full announced line-up is The Black Keys, Swedish House Mafia, Pulp, Refused, Arctic Monkeys, Mazzy Star, AfroJack, Explosions In The Sky, M83, Amon Tobin, Cat Power, Madness, Jimmy Cliff, Tim Armstrong, Girls, The Rapture, Madeon, M. For the first time this year Coachella will be held over held over two consecutive weekends, with the line-ups repeated for each identical three-day span.

The dates for 2012 are confirmed as Friday 13th to Sunday 15th April for weekend one, and again a week later from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd April for weekend two.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (aka Coachella) the three-day annual music and arts festival is held at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California, in the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley. The event features a wide choice of genres of music including alternative rock, hip hop, and electronic music as well as large scale sculptural art.

Early bird tickets have sold out. Tickets will be priced at $285 (approx £185) for general admission 3 day pass, and go on sale on Friday, 13th January, at 10am PST.

The nearest airport is Palm Springs International Airport, 23 miles away. Car parking at the festival is free.
