super early bird tickets sold out in one week for Standon Calling

Super Early Bird tickets for Standon Calling 2012 have sold out in less than a week.

That makes them the fastest selling early bird tickets in Standon's five year history. Now that they have all been snapped up Standon Calling have released a limited amount of early bird tickets at the price of £85.

Production Director Graham Macvoy said, "This is the fastest any Standon Calling Early Bird tickets have sold out ever, and we're anticipating similar demand for the next batch of tickets. Hopefully this shows that people who came last year had such a good time that they wanted to guarantee they were at next year's party."

Standon Calling returns next summer to the grounds of a 16th Century Hertfordshire manor house from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th August 2012 with a new fresh faced format and offering their lowest ever early bird price.

Next year Standon are taking it back to the old school by opening on Friday night with a rave! There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012, expect a line-up of well known acts, diverse entertainment and DJs.

As well as early bird adult weekend tickets with camping priced at £85, children aged 12 and under can go free. Car parking tickets are priced at £6. To buy tickets click here.

The fancy dress theme will take over the festival site with interactive theatre, art installations and costumes. The theme has not yet been announced for 2012.

There are numerous stages and the odd unexpected stage appearing from nowhere. The festival boasts a number of bars, one of which is hewn out of an enormous oak tree, secret areas, interactive theatre, swimming pool (with underwater dance area), boutique camping (beach huts, yurts and tipis), kids area, and festival food.
