Next year Standon are taking it back to the old school by opening on Friday night with a rave! There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012, expect a line-up of well known acts, diverse entertainment and DJs.
Production Director Graham Macvoy said, "People keep telling us that festivals are getting really expensive, particularly when people are feeling the pinch. So we've spent the past few months talking to Standon regulars to come up with a plan to focus on the areas they love whilst simplifying others to get the price down. At £79 the Super Early Bird price is the lowest it's ever been. It's a fresh approach and we are really excited about revealing more over the coming months."
Super early bird adult weekend tickets with camping are priced at £79, last year's early bird tickets sold out in record time, children aged 12 and under can go free. Car parking tickets are priced at £6. To buy tickets click here.
The fancy dress theme will take over the festival site with interactive theatre, art installations and costumes. The theme has not yet been announced for 2012.
There are numerous stages and the odd unexpected stage appearing from nowhere. The festival boasts a number of bars, one of which is hewn out of an enormous oak tree, secret areas, interactive theatre, swimming pool (with underwater dance area), boutique camping (beach huts, yurts and tipis), kids area, and festival food.
