eFestivals has launched a helpful tool for those Glastonbury Festival goers who are considering what other festivals to go to in its place next year.

Glastonbury Festival takes a year out in 2012, and so we have come up with a nifty little program to help you make your decision and hopefully deliver you a summer of Glast-isfaction.

To use the progam simply select the stages where you have most enjoyed the music on offer at Glastonbury Festivals in the past, and the tool will suggest the best matches. The program works out matches partly based upon acts shared on line-ups, rather than the vibe of the various stage locations. We hope the results will broaden your options beyond the most obvious festivals you may be considering.

The results only list outdoor camping festivals as you're looking for an experience something like Glastonbury Festival. There's loads of great festivals out there, so make sure you consider all that you might like!

We hope the results will give your summer 2012 festival experience the right Glast-isfaction, of course if you want to go to a festival see one particular band, the program won't be able to address that.

Glastonbury Festival takes a year out in 2012 and returns in 2013 and will take place from Wednesday 26th until Sunday 30th June 2013. Registration for Glastonbury Festival 2013 is now open. Everyone who plans to the come the Festival must register, and that includes children aged 13, 14 and 15. Each ticket sold will feature a photograph of the person in whose name it is registered and will be non-transferable. So if you plan to buy tickets for friends or family you must make sure they all register!

Registration does not reserve or guarantee you a ticket when they go on sale some time in 2012, exact date to be confirmed, but if you don't register you will not be able to buy a weekend ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2013. If you opt to save this information you will be able to use your registration number again in future years. Make sure the e-mail address you provide is one to which you will have long term access.

Online registration for 2013 can be carried out by clicking here.
