GuilFest adds Kate Rusby, Funeral For A Friend, & Skindred

plus Levi Roots, and a host of Big Cheese Cave additions

Renowned folk singer Kate Rusby will be making her first appearance at next month's GuilFest, performing with an all-star band of five musicians – a "who's who" of the folk scene on The Good Time Guide Stage on Saturday.

Also announced are Welsh rockers Funeral For A Friend who will be Friday night headliners in The Big Cheese Cave. Whilst Saturday's energetic headliner will be Welsh ragga metal favourites Skindred fronted by the flamboyant Benji Webb.

There's lots more confirmations for The Big Cheese Cave line-up with My Passion, Pure Reason Revolution, Attack! Attack!, Library of June, Pint Shot Riot, Computers, and Max Raptor for Friday. Saturday's line-up includes Sonic Boom Six, Dinosaur Pile Up, The Xcerts, Anzi Destruction, Marner Brown, and Subsource. Whilst on Sunday joining headliners Gallows will be Cerebral Ballzy, Revoker, Exit International, and Death For Thieves.

Elsewhere on the site, there's also two new confirmations for the Funky End Dance Tent with Jehst, and Benji Boko confirmed for Sunday.

Confirmed for the GuilFest Main Stage are alt rockers Sound Of Guns on Saturday, with Calling All Astronauts appearing on Friday. Whilst Weyward Chile, Susie Clarke Collective, Claire Nicolson, and Rhizomes will all be on The Good Time Guide Stage, also on Friday.

Also confirmed for the brand new Vive Le Rock punk and ska stage line-up are British Jamaican Reggae 'Sauce' artist Levi Roots on Sunday, and New Wave band Department S on Friday.

The line-up will continue to grow over the coming weeks to a total of around 200 bands performing over the 3 days on eight stages at the festival.

They join the already announced Roger Daltrey from The Who playing 'Tommy' and The Who’s Greatest Hits, James Blunt, Razorlight, N-Dubz, The Farm, Wretch 32, Adam Ant, Gallows, Erasure, Noisettes, YasmIn, The Popes, DJ Fresh, Public Image Ltd, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Saw Doctors, Ziggy Marley, Pendulum (DJ Set) & MC AD, Nero, Modestep (DJ Set), Chipmunk, Redlight, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, and many more.

GuilFest is a great laid-back festival where visitors can enjoy a great weekend taking place from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th July 2011 in Stoke Park, Guildford in Surrey. GuilFest is not just about the music and throughout the site there are many activities and shows to keep attendees entertained all weekend. There's the eFestivals' Cosmic Comedy Tent, returning with a line up of side splitting comics, The Man In The Moon Theatre Tent, featuring performances from Burlesque Cabaret to Shakespeare, The Brand New GuilFest Vintage Fayre, The Ceroc Dance Tent, The Eden Peoples's GuilFest Gallery, La Discotheque, Farmer Giles Barn Dance, Vive Le Rock Stage, 150ft Beer Tent, Art & Craft Village, Calypso Cocktail Bar, street performers, food stalls from around the world, Kidzone featuring Peppa Pig and Bob The Builder and more, with the Guildford Spectrum Leisure Centre and Lido right next door.

An adult weekend camping ticket is priced at £120, adult weekend tickets without camping are priced at £110, child (aged 12-15 years old) weekend with camping £70 and child weekend tickets without camping are priced at £60. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult. A campervan ticket is priced at £60. This year is looking set to be a sellout.
