Michael Monroe has been announced for this summer's High Voltage appearing on main stage on Saturday with his supergroup.

The band consists of Michael's Hanoi Rocks and Demolition 23 band-mate Sami Yaffa, fresh from an extended stint playing bass with the reformed New York Dolls. On guitar is Wildheart frontman Ginger, with New York Dolls' guitarist Steve Conte, and drummer Karl Rockfist completing the line-up. Karl has played, recorded, and toured with several bands.

The two-day festival featuring classic rock, progressive rock and metal acts with over 40 playing over three stages. They join the previously announced Judas Priest and Dream Theatre who will headline, plus UK festival exclusives from Black Country Communion, Slash, Jethro Tull, Queensryche, Thunder, Neal Morse and Spock's Beard and performances from Thin Lizzy, Michael Schenker group, John Lee's Barclay James Harvest, Skin, Caravan, and more. High Voltage takes place at London's Victoria Park over the weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July 2011.
