Badly Drawn Boy and Seth Lakeman for Eden Sessions

Badly Drawn Boy, and Seth Lakeman have been announced for the Biotik stage at the Cornwall's Eden Sessions.

Badly Drawn Boy, otherwise known as Damon Gough, will be playing the stage in the Mediterranean Biome on Thursday 30th June, before the evening headliner The Flaming Lips take to the main stage. Other artists playing on the day include Liam Frost, and The Travelling Band.

Dartmoor folk star Seth Lakeman will play Biotik on Thursday 23rd June, before Primal Scream headline the evening on the main stage with their Screamadelica Live show.

Biotik is the result of a long-term collaboration between the Eden Project and Cape Farewell, a creative project that brings artists, scientists and communicators together to engage people in the subject of climate change.

Badly Drawn Boy is appearing on the Biotik stage with other acts associated with the charity Manchester Aid to Kosovo, who support recovery in Kosovo by providing opportunities, resources, and developing partnerships.

Seth's appearance on the Biotik stage is part of a programme of events for the day curated by insect-themed arts festival Pestival.

This year's Eden Sessions will feel more like a one-day festival than ever before, with three stages featuring some of the best up-and-coming acts playing from early afternoon on each day as well as world-famous headliners.

Pendulum - Saturday 25 June
The Flaming Lips + The Go! Team + OK Go - Thursday 30 June
Fleet Foxes + Villagers + The Bees - Friday 1st July
Brandon Flowers + Mystery Jets - Tuesday 12th July

Tickets are priced at £37.50 for each session. Every Sessions ticket includes entry to Eden on the day of the show or the day after. To buy tickets for for the other Sessions, click here.

The Eden Sessions are now in their tenth year. The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event.
