The line-up for the popular 'pop and politics' tent known as Leftfield has been announced for next month's Glastonbury Festival.

This year's curator Billy Bragg, will be joined by as yet unannounced special guests on Saturday, plus acts with an activist edge including Bellowhead, Badly Drawn Boy, Sound Of Rum, Kid British, Wolfgang, Grace Petrie, and Raghu Dixit, as well as comedians Robin Ince, and Josie Long in the tent located in Holts Field.

As well as the musical line-up the tent will also play host to a Comedy Spot, Bill's Big Round-up, and debates on important issues such as Power In A Union, Global Solidarity, Technology Against The Cuts, Green Jobs & Sustainable futures, Equality In The Cuts Frontline, and Another World Is Possible.

The tent returns with the same programme format as last year, kicking off around midday with a couple of debates running until 3pm then from 4pm there will be three or four artists collaborating with one another in a hootenanny, sitting on stage together swapping songs and playing along with each other, then from 6pm the bands take to the stage.

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival have sold out.

The Pyramid Stage headliners are U2, Coldplay, and Beyonce.
