Newton Faulkner, 6 Day Riot, and Emily And The Woods are amongst the latest acts confirmed for Macmillan's The Big Mix in East London.

Also taking to the stages will be Ben Marwood, The Last Dinosaur, Bleeding Heart Narrative, Sam Brookes, The Meow Meows, City Shanty Band, and Guilty Pleasures (DJ Set).

Plus added to the line-up of comedy are Kevin Eldon, Stephen Carlin, Hannah Warman, Del Strain, and compere Tiernan Douieb.

For those that fancy an upbeat electronic hybrid end to their evening, there will be DJ sets curated by Tony N from creative music agency Burntprogress, with a line-up including Kutmah, Om Unit, Bullion, Paul White, Alex Chase, Kelpe, Mr Beatnick, Kay Suzuki, Morgan Zarate, Soundspecies, Simbad, Mr Wonderful, Martelo, Nwachukwu, and Nightwave.

Already confirmed are Edith Bowman (DJ set), Clare Maguire, Tim Burgess (DJ set), Treetop Flyers, Zero 7 (DJ Set), Amy Molyneaux and Percy Parker (DJ Set), Kid British, Friends Electric, Yunioshi, New Town Kings, I Am Harlequin, Town, and Spy Catcher.

There will be two dedicated comedy venues at The Big Mix featuring the likes of Steve Hughes, Robert White, Helen Arney, Matt Richardson, Joel Dommett, Paul B Edwards, and Joe K.

Macmillan Cancer Support will be taking over venues in Shoreditch, East London including Cargo, The Brickhouse, Rich Mix, Spitalfields, Vibe and many more, on Saturday 18th June 2011 for its annual large scale music event – Macmillan's The Big Mix (previously the Brick Lane Takeover). This year the event expands to include comedy, fashion, cabaret and art.
