Headliners Texas, and Deacon Blue top the first acts announced for this summer's eighth Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

Also announced for this year's Bella are Newton Faulkner, Frank Turner, Little Comets, Dry The River, Admiral Fallow, The Webb Sisters, CW Stoneking, Diddums, Easy Star All Stars, Saint Saviour, Skerryvore, Cousti, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Drunken Balordi, and James Mackenzie & the Aquascene.

The line-up will feature around 90 acts across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach.

This will be the first Scottish festival that Deacon Blue have ever played. Speaking about the festival, Ricky Ross of Deacon Blue said, "We're very excited to be playing our first Festival in Scotland - ever! If we have played one before it's so lost in the mists of time that we've forgotten. We're particularly pleased to be playing in The Highlands in the summertime."

Belladrum takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire, Scotland. Music comes from over 90 acts across five stages featuring locally and internationally renowned artists and favouring a lo-fi approach. Now in it's eighth year the festival will take place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August 2011.

Tickets are priced at £90 for an adult weekend ticket which includes parking and camping. Campervans & caravan tickets are priced at £30. Children aged 12 and under are able to attend for free.

The camping/car parking passes are combined. When buying tickets purchasers must ensure they order the correct number of camping/car parking passes required. Purchasers require one pass per vehicle NOT per person. Festival goers will be directed to the camping area of their choice by the car parking pass they have ordered.
