Jersey Live Dance Arena headliners announced

Mr Oizo and Zane Lowe have been announced as this year's Dance Arena headliners at Jersey Live Festival.

2011's Dance Arena headliners have been announced as legendary French electro producer/DJ Mr Oizo on Sunday and Radio One DJ Zane Lowe on Saturday.

Jersey Live have also announced that this year's Main Stage compere will be Radio One presenter, and spearhead for new music, Huw Stephens.

The dates for the eighth Jersey Live are confirmed as Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September 2011. The site's opening and closing hours are midday to midnight on Saturday and midday to 11pm on Sunday.

The headliners Madness, and Plan B, are joined by The Streets, Nero, The Beat, Wretch 32, Danny Byrd & Dynamite Mc, Toddla T & Mc Serocee, and Breakage. With many more still to be announced. For the line-up details as available please click here.

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Le Sueur said, "We're over the moon to have secured two really great acts for the Dance Arena. Some people may know Zane mainly from his radio show, but his DJ sets really are something special too. Mr Oizo is a massive coup for us, we've been trying to get him for the festival for a couple of years now and he's one of the strongest headliners we’ve ever had.."

Jersey Live co-organiser Warren Holt added, "Oizo is the hottest DJ on the planet in my humble opinion, he will blow peoples minds at Jersey Live 2011, I know where I will be! Zane Lowe played a closing set on the Main Stage a few years back, but with reduced volume, he was incredible, this year he comes back fully armed with the amazing & pounding Funktion One PA System to unleash his arsenal of rock and dance beats."

The early bird tickets offer has ended. Tickets will go on sale on Sunday 1st May, prices have not yet been confirmed.
