Carter USM, Big Audio Dynamite, Gogol Bordello, and Levellers have been confirmed as headliners for this year's Beautiful Days, which takes place at Escot Park, near Fairmile, Devon.

The original Big Audio Dynamite line-up featuring Mick, Don, Dan, Leo and Greg will headline the Friday night at Beautiful Days. The groundbreaking rock-hiphop-reggae outfit, formed by Mick Jones in the wake of The Clash have reunited after twenty five years and are credited with popularising sampling techniques and combining rock guitars with world beat, B.A.D has influenced everyone from Beastie Boys to Chemical Brothers.

They share the bill on Friday night at Beautiful Days with the return of gypsy-punks Gogol Bordello, back by popular demand after a storming set headlining the festival in 2007.

Headlining the Saturday night at Beautiful Days are Carter USM making their first festival appearance in 14 years and their only UK festival appearance this year. In a career that spanned 10 years, Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine's achievements included a Number One album and many hit singles whose lyrics have dealt with very unlikely pop themes. Their ferociously entertaining live shows have earned them the most dedicated fan followings in the wonderful world of alternative pop.

Festival founders Levellers will close the festival, as is traditional on the Sunday night followed by a firework finale.

There will be loads more acts to be announced in the coming months including the other headline acts for The Big Top and some big names for the Main Stage, The Big Top and The Little Big Top.

Also still to be announced is the line-up for Dirty Davey'’s and Scary Dave’'s comedy line-up in the Little Big Top. Previously announced are Oysterband who will headline ‘Big Session @ Beautiful Days’ in the Big Top on the Saturday.

Beautiful Days takes place from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st August 2011 and will feature music across five stages, and street theatre, as well as site art and sculpture, lots of children's activities a huge children's area in the centre of the festival, theatre, comedy, family camping, camping facilities, licensed bars from local company Otter Brewery, world food, craft stalls, fancy dress, a 'village shop' on site, and more. There is plenty of family camping close to the car parks.

An adult weekend camping ticket is priced £110, child (10 to under 16 years of age) weekend camping tickets are £60, children aged 5 to under 10's weekend camping tickets are £30 and under 5's weekend camping tickets are £5. Campervan passes are £35 and car routing/parking passes are £15. There will be no day tickets available.
