Lightning Seeds, and Twisted Wheel are amongst the latest acts announced for Cheshire's new 10,000 capacity weekend festival Friends Of Mine Festival.

The latest additions are Lightning Seeds, Twisted Wheel, The Farm, Toro Y Moi, Mutineers, The Whip, and Chris Helme.

Plus Mr Scruff will appear on Friday night Big Top Stage, John Cooper Clarke who headlines The Comedy & Spoken Word Tent, Horace Andy, John Mackie Band ft Bonehead, Flats, The Longcut, Masters in France, The Patterns, and Aaron Wright The latest additions are completed by Daddy G, King Spinna, City Culture & Blackout Ja, The Watchers, The Answering Machine, Lowline, Mysterious Cities Of Gold, and Janice Graham.

Aside from the musical entertainment on the main stage, the Big Top stage and the acoustic stage, there'll be a dedicated tent for stand-up comedy, spoken word and poetry, and a marquee run by events company House Party. There's also a cinema tent showing Manchester-centric movies 'Control' and '24 Hour Party People' plus cult classics.
