Download announce Pendulum, Korn, and Thin Lizzy

Pendulum, Korn, Alter Bridge, and Thin Lizzy are amongst the latest raft of acts announced tonight for this summer's Download festival.

The first of today's announced acts have been confirmed as Pendulum who will headline the Other Stage.

Also confirmed are Korn, Alice Cooper, Alter Bridge, Thin Lizzy, Danzig, The Cult, The Gaslight Anthem, Hollywood Undead, Thin Lizzy, Black Veil Brides, Buckcherry, The Damned Things, and Escape The Fate.

Plus Clutch, Bullet For My Valentine, FM, Mr Big, GWAR, Masters Of Reality, and Rise To Remain will also be heading to Download in 2011.

System of a Down, and Linkin Park will headline, with Rob Zombie, and Avenged Sevenfold previously confirmed for the festival held over the weekend of Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2011 at Donington Park with Avenged Sevenfold also confirmed.

Weekend arena tickets with 3 nights camping are priced at £170, a five nights camping weekend ticket is priced at £180 and offers access to the Download camp site from midday Wednesday June 8th 2011, and a weekend only ticket without camping is priced at £140.
