Arctic Monkeys, and Eminem will headline this year's V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August 2011.

Celebrating it's sixteenth year the twin event will be headlined by Sheffield's Arctic Monkeys on Saturday at Hylands Park and Sunday at Weston Park with Plan B appearing before them. Rapper Eminem headlines on Saturday at Weston Park and Sunday at Hylands Park with Rihanna confirmed before him.

Joining the headliners on the main stage line-up will be The Script, Kaiser Chiefs, and Manic Street Preachers.

Confirmed the across four stages are Dizzee Rascal, Primal Scream (presenting Screamadelica), Razorlight, Pendulum, Duran Duran, Chase & Status, Scouting For Girls, Tinie Tempah, The Courteeners, The Wombats, and Bruno Mars.

Over the festival weekend there will also be sets from Ellie Goulding, Jessie J, N-Dubz, Big Audio Dynamite, Example, Hurts, KT Tunstall, Squeeze, The Saturdays, Katy B, Olly Murs, You Me At Six, Wiz Khalifa, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Imelda May, Cast, Ocean Colour Scene, Eliza Doolittle, and Bellowhead. Plus many more to be announced.

Festival Director, Bob Angus commented, "We've got two supremely talented acts headlining this year's V Festival in the Arctic Monkeys and Eminem and the likes of Plan B, Kaiser Chiefs, The Script and Manic Street Preachers just adds to the strength of the main stage line up."

He added, "The breadth of accomplished talent performing throughout the weekend on the other stages is also something that we are very proud of with heavyweight acts including Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Chase and Status and Duran Duran joining the party."

Making its V debut in 2011 will also be 'V Style' camping. V Style offers festival goers a chance to stay in ready built Pod Pads, Cloud Yurts, Hearthworks Tipis and pop-up hotel rooms over the festival weekend.

Tickets will go on sale at 9am this Friday 4th March 2011, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. Tickets will be priced at £175 for a weekend pass with camping, and £149 weekend pass without camping. A day ticket will be priced at £83.50, and a campervan pass is priced at £99.
