early bird tickets on sale for The Big Chill

From 9am today early bird tickets for The Big Chill Festival will go on sale.

A limited number of adult weekend tickets will go on sale from 9am at 2010 prices. Purchasing tickets in this pre-sale means that the VAT and PRS increases won't mean bite into the revenue from ticket sales. The price increase in the New Year means to get them early offers a saving of at least £10 per ticket.

Tickets will be priced at £155 per adult with a maximum of 4 tickets able to be bought per household, teen tickets (13 to 17 years old) will be priced at £60, and kid (12 and under) will be £4.

Pre-sale tickets will be available until 31st December 2010.

General sale tickets and the first line-up details will be released in Spring next year.

The dates for The Big Chill 2011 are confirmed as from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th August at the site which has four lakes, thick woods and an arboretum at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.
