The Jolly Boys will be bringing the sounds of Jamaica to this week's Big Chill which takes from Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th August at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire.

Jamaican mento act The Jolly Boys feat. Albert Minott are joined on the Saturday line-up by electro pop duo Monarchy, and Virginian Country musician Phil Vassar.

Other new additions to the bill include DJ sets from Sanjay Tailor from Asian Dub Foundation Sound System on Saturday, and Malachai on Sunday on The Revellers Stage.

Performing a live set will be the The Fantasy Funk Band, and Craig Charles will also broadcast his Funk and Soul Show live from the festival site on Saturday.

On the Clash stage on Saturday, replacing Ganglians who have had to cancel, will be Midimidis with Les Clochards opening the stage on Sunday.

New additions to the Paradiso stage line up include How's My Raving VIP crew, Bam Bam Sound, Western Soul, and Suisse for the early bird partiers on Thursday, with We Don't Play manning the decks Sunday night.

Keeping the party going until 6am in the Starburst tent will be the Shhh! Headphone Party. Whilst adding to his previously announced post-headliner DJ set Adrian Sherwood also joins Thursday’s Lazyland line-up along with Lack of Afro, Hyperpotamus, Mr Benn, Lewis Floyd Henry, and Boomclick, DJ Pathaan, Ben Osborne, and Mark Morris.

Sailor Jerry's Bar sees the addition of Kids in Glass Houses, Didz Hammond, Primary 1, and Moshi Moshi DJs to their line-up.

The Igloo welcomes Leggo Beast, and Shepdog on Friday, DJ Food, Woody, JFB, Sampology on Saturday and James Braddell on Sunday.

Fans of comedy show Fonejacker can enjoy a Q&A session with the Fonejacker himself Kayvan Novak and then two episodes at the Cinema Tent on Sunday.

A new spoken word additions at the Words in Motion stage include presenters from MyChoons who follow their run at London's Roundhouse on Friday with the musical musings of a yet to be revealed special guest. Bompas and Parr will present Scratch n' Sniff revealing some of the secrets behind their installation the Ziggurat of Flavour where visitors can enter and inhale and taste a dense cloud of Fairtrade fruit. The Fairtrade installation hopes to build awareness of the need for fairer terms of trade for all farmers and workers producing the food UK customers eat.

On Saturday the Kenyan Orphan Project trustee Daniel Magnus brings an insight into the charity's vital work fighting disease, poverty and injustice to improve the lives of Kenyan children. Story teller Chris Lowe will relay tales from the modern to the ancient about madmen, murders and monsters with some late night horror and ghost stories.

Recently the Big Chill also announced that in collaboration with Massive Attack, Festival Republic and The HOPING Foundation the event aims to raise awareness and support for young Palestinian refugees. The Hoping Foundation is a charity that Massive Attack has championed since 2005; The Big Chill will be screening films in a specially commissioned tent from Big Chill and Festival Republic through the weekend!

The Big Chill offers both families and ravers a diverse range of art, films, poetry, cabaret, kids spaces, comedy, and literature in addition to the music.

Tickets are on sale priced at £155 per adult with a maximum of 4 tickets able to be bought per household, teen tickets (13 to 17 years old) are priced at £60, and kid (12 and under) are £4. Live-in vehicle tickets are priced at £50 (per vehicle for the weekend), and car park tickets are £7.50 in advance, more on the gate. Sunday Day tickets are priced at £70 and are only valid for camping on Sunday night.
