The latest names to join the V Festival billing are led by frontman of pioneering Madchester band Happy Mondays - Shaun Ryder who appears on the bill on the newly named Nissan Juke Arena stage alongside the previously confirmed Peter Andre.

Rising star Matthew P will also be performing at the festival on the 4Music Stage. Plus, replacing previously announced Virgin Media Union act Eli Paperboy Reed, will be roots reggae nine-piece, Gentleman's Dub Club.

V Festival Director Bob Angus said, "We're chuffed to bits to be able to welcome a living legend like Shaun William Ryder to the line-up this summer. These final additions conclude our 2010 line-up and we hope fans are excited as we are about all the great music on offer. We wish all our visitors to V have a weekend to remember."
