Cagedbaby aka Thomas Gandey, takes the festival's headline slot on Friday and will be playing in the Snafu managed dance arena. DJ and producer, CagedBaby will be playing one of only a handful of UK festival dates this summer at the New Deer based Wizard Festival, just outside Aberdeen in the North-East of Scotland. This announcement follows the already confirmed slot for Saturday's headline performance that has been taken by Glasgow DJ legends Slam.

Joining these headliners over the weekend will be DJ duo Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie, aka Silicone Soul. The Glasgow based pair will take to Wizard's dance stage on Saturday.

A La Fu, and Harvey McKay have also been confirmed to DJ at the event with local DJ acts such as Adam Ackers, Greg Gibb, DJ Lunik, Glen Scislowski, and Mr Green all confirmed for Saturday.

DJ performers Yoin, Krazzy Martin, PEDS, and DJ Cheynie will also take to Wizard's dance arena on Friday.

Wizard is also keen to to support up and coming DJ talent from across Scotland so are on the look-out for DJ talent to play at the festival. Those who think they have what it takes to take to the decks are asked to submit demos to wizard@clubsnafu.com, the closing date for entries is Thursday 15th July.

Roy Thain, Wizard Festival director said, "We have added loads more top quality acts to the programme and many of them will be performing at Wizard for the first time so that is always very exciting. We think that we have put out our strongest line up ever this year and we are delighted that so many great bands are really keen to perform to festival fans in the North-East. One of the things that we are really passionate about is supporting up and coming acts form north of the border and so we have made a real effort to book as many young breaking Scottish acts as possible. Making the bill varied with lots of different genres of music opens the event up to as many fans as possible and we are convinced that this year's line-up will attract music fans from across the UK and beyond."

They join a line-up over the weekend of Friday 27th and Saturday 28th August 2010 that includes Saturday headliners Happy Mondays plus Alabama 3, Complete Stone Roses and Peatbog Faeries, who have already been confirmed to play at the event.

Now in its fourth year, Wizard, takes place at the New Deer Show Ground near Peterhead and Fraserburgh, North East Scotland and attracts music fans from across Scotland and more than 4,000 people attended last year's event.

A family friendly event, Wizard also runs a full two day children's programme and has a dedicated arena, Wee Wizards, where families and young people can get involved in creative and musical activities and workshops.

Made up of three stages, over 50 acts will appear at Wizard across two days in August. Held in the beautiful setting of the New Deer Showground, approximately 30 miles from Aberdeen, last year it added a full line up of DJ’s as well as local acts and arena performers to its bill.

Tickets are on sale priced at £70 for an adult weekend ticket (includes camping & parking from 1pm Fri to noon Sun) or £45 for a Saturday adult day ticket (includes camping & parking Saturday only), a campervan/caravan ticket is priced at £20. Children 12 years old and under go free.
