The Candyskins, Cate Le Bon, Neil Halstead, 9 Bach, and The Minnikinsare amongst the acts confirmed for this weekend's Wood, the festival celebrating music and nature, which happens in the surroundings of Braziers Park, in Oxfordshire from Friday 21st until Sunday 23rd May 2010.

Both indie band The Candyskins and their singer songwriter Nick Cope have been added to the line-up which also sees main stage appearances from Cate Le Bon, Neil Halstead, 9 Bach, The Minnikins, Malpas, My First Tooth, Marmaduke Dando, and Jaakko & Jay.

The Tree Tent stage line-up sees the addition of Timber Timbre, Tricycle Riot, Band of Hope, Inge Thomson, Jali Fily Cissokho, 6 Day Riot, Holton's Opulent Oog, Avalonian Free State Choir, KTB, Horns of Plenty, Benjamin Folke Thomas, and WOOD Festival All-Stars.

They join headliners Frank Turner, Tunng, and Fionn Regan, with Martin Simpson, Danny And The Champions Of The World,Frontier Ruckus, Ora Cogan, Trevor Moss and Hannah-Lou, and Dusty And The Dreaming Spires. For the line-up details, stage and day splits, please click here.

This year there will be an official Cycle to Wood ride which leaves Oxford Cycle Workshop at 4pm on Friday, tents and bags will be taken to the site for cyclists (and on the way back too) who will get a free pint when they arrive on site after the 20-mile ride.

Tickets are limited to 800 to keep it intimate and create a community within a weekend. Weekend tickets are priced at £70 for adults which includes camping and all workshops. There is also a junior ticket for ages 13-17 priced priced £50, children aged 12 and under will be able to go along for free! There are also day tickets available 50 tickets for each day to keep things nice and intimate - it's £25 for Friday night and then £30 for Saturday and £30 for Sunday. Wood runs entirely on renewable energy and aims to highlight green issues and hopefully promote an ecologically friendly lifestyle, with things like composting toilets, showers heated by wood-burning stove, a people powered fairground, and a solar-powered stage and dancing into the night in a bicycle powered 'discotheque'.
