Cornbury announces more acts

Seth LakemanThe Fisherman's Friends, and Joshua Radin are amongst the latest names to be confirmed for Cornbury Music Festival.

The latest acts announced for the seventh year of the festival which takes place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2010 at Cornbury Park, Charlbury, in Oxfordshire include Angus & Julia Stone, Joshua Radin, The Fisherman's Friends, Seth Lakeman, Lucinda Belle Orchestra, Ben Montague, Jon Allen, and Danny and The Champions of The World.

These are the final additions to the bill which includes headliners David Gray and Jackson Browne. Other previously announced artists include Noisettes, Imelda May, The Feeling, Candi Staton, The Blockheads, Reef, Tiffany Page, Dr John, Newton Faulkener, Squeeze, Buddy Guy, Loyd Grossman's New Forbidden, Kathryn Tickell and a special performance by Staxs featuring Kiki Dee and Louise Marshall. Hugh Phillimore, founder and organiser of the Cornbury Festival, said "I'm thrilled to confirm this fantastic selection of emerging artists to the line up of this year's Cornbury Festival. Joshua Radin, Ben Montague, Lucinda Belle and Fisherman's Friends all recently featured in the Top 10 Amazon Pre-release Charts so it's a real coup to welcome them to Cornbury."

A weekend adult ticket is priced at £95 (with an extra charge of £20 for camping, or the quiet camping option), a young person weekend tickets (for those aged 13-16 years old inclusive) is priced at £47.50 (with camping £67.50). Child aged 12 years and under, and adults over 70 years of age can attend for free (but need tickets). A campervan ticket is priced at £40.

Saturday or Sunday Day tickets for adults are priced at £55, with a Young Person (13-16 years old inclusive) priced at £27.50. Once again tickets will be 'Print at home' which literally does mean you print your tickets at home!

In addition to the music, 'Poshstock' offers a variety of attractions including a fairground, many morris dance pageants, children's theatre workshops, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale.
