Hip hop legend Snoop Dogg has been announced alongside D12, Slash, and more for London's Wireless.

Snoop Dogg burst onto the scene in 1993 with his massively successful 'Doggystyle' album and the hit singles 'What's My Name' and 'Gin & Juice'. A protégé of Dr.Dre, Snoop is considered to be one of the forefathers of G-Funk, a sub genre of rap music that emerged from West Coast rap in the early 90's. Snoop Dogg last played Hyde Park in 2005 andd returns on Saturday 3rd July. Also confirmed for London's Hyde Park is guitarist Slash who will tear up the stage on Sunday 4th July headlined by Jay-Z unveiling tracks from his debut solo album 'Slash' released on 10th May. The ex-Guns'n'Roses guitarist is joined on the Sunday line-up by Detroit, hip hop collective D12 plus Dan Le Sac, Wiley, Roll Deep, Talay Riley, McLean, and Chiddy Bang. Completing the new additions are Danish indie pop starlets Alphabeat.

Wireless takes place from Friday 2nd until Sunday 4th July. Jay-Z is the Sunday headliner, Pink has been confirmed as Friday headliner, and Saturday's line-up is headlined by LCD Soundsystem, and special guest Missy Elliott. Other confirmed acts include 2manyDJs, Mr Hudson, Lily Allen, Plan B, Daisy Dares You,Bowling For Soup, The Ting Tings, Gossip, The Temper Trap, Chase & Status, Friendly Fires, Chipmunk, Tinie Tempah, Drake, Professor Green, Taylor Hawkins & the Coattail Riders, Hockey, Neon Hitch, DJ Shadow, Unkle, The Big Pink, and more. In addition to four stages of music, Wireless 2010 will also have attractions including an acoustic band stand, a fairground, chill out areas, street theatre, performance art, markets, food stalls, beer gardens, secure lockers, and fun games.
