The 80's Welsh act brought their ramshackle pop charm to lighten up the indie scene. Their debut single 'On Tape' mocked obsessive indie fans and was followed by a box set of one-sided 7" singles featuring the track 'I Know Someone Who Knows Someone Who Knows Alan McGee Quite Well'.

Swedish punk-pop act Love Is All formed from the ashes of indiepop group Girlfriendo in 2005. The band will be showcasing tracks from their new album 'Two Thousand and Ten Injuries'.

The festival, which takes place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th July 2010, is held in the grounds of Butterley Station, a picturesque 1950s steam railway in Derbyshire, will also play host to Pains Of Being Pure At Heart who headline. Acts also confirmed include Allo Darlin', Ballboy, Be Like Pablo, Betty and The Werewolves, Boy Genius, The Cannanes, Cineplexx, Fanfarlo, Foxes!, The Give It Ups, The Just Joans, The Loves, MJ Hibbett & the Validators, Onward Chariots, Sarandon, Shrag, The Smittens, Standard Fare, Stars of Aviation, The Sunny Street, This Many Boyfriends, White Town, and Winston Echo, and many more. Over 50 indiepop bands from across the globe will be playing across four stages: the outdoor stage; the indoor stage, the church and on the steam trains themselves. The festival will also host a range of craft workshops and a selection of discos after the bands finish.

The bands will play until 10pm, and will then be followed by an indiepop disco. Included in the ticket price is unlimited train rides during the weekend, and full access to the normal Midland Railway Butterley attractions including a farm and museum.

Camping is available at Golden Valley Caravan Park, which is a ten minute walk from the Swanwick festival site. Price per night, per tent for two people sharing is £25. Cars will not be parked on the campsite but will be parked at the festival site once belongings have been unloaded.
