Gallows, The Subways, Sepultura, and more for Hevy
festival expands to three days, tickets on sale now
Friday 12th March 2010
Gallows, The Subways, and Sepultura are amongst the first acts to be confirmed for the Havy Music Festival, which this year expands to a three day event.
The team behind last year's one-day music event on Folkestone Seafront return this summer with their first full weekend festival. The Hevy Music Festival 2010 will feature 4 stages of great bands, live extreme sports displays and the UK's most exhilarating thrill-rides. The event has also found a new home at Lympne Wildlife Park, in Kent and will take place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August 2010.
Headlining the Main Stage on Saturday will be hardcore giants Gallows, Brit-rock heroes The Subways will be second
on the bill for Sunday, with the headline act still to be announced, and Sepultura will be headlining the Second Stage on Sunday.
Festival organisers said, "With a brand new venue and some awesome plans, this yearʼs festival is what weʼve always wanted to bring to Kent - itʼs going to be huge! Weʼve always felt thereʼs a need in this corner of the UK for something a little heavier, and thatʼs what we hope to be - Kentʼs alternative music festival. Weʼre really going for it too - with huge bands from all corners of rock, punk, hardcore and metal, insane extreme sports displays and some hand-picked, state-of-the-art thrill rides - everything on site is totally focused at the alternative market. And at just £69 for a weekend camping ticket, itʼs seriously good value too!"
Weekend camping tickets are priced at £69. To buy tickets online, click here.
