exclusive: Wychwood add Kila, and Justin Currie

Goldheart Assembly, 6 Day Riot, Beth Jeans Houghton, Mr B, and more

eFestivals can exclusively reveal more acts for this sumer's Wychwood Festival including Kila and Del Amitri's Justin Currie.

Kila
Ireland's Kila are confirmed for the main stage on Sunday afternoon, and Justin Currie fills the final slot on the main stage on Friday. London-based six-piece Goldheart Assembly and 6 Day Riot are also announced for the main stage, with the former appearing on Saturday, and the latter on Sunday.

Back by popular demand after his stunning session on Tom Robinson's stage at Wychwood 2009 is Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer on a one-man mission to introduce Hip-Hop to the Queen's English. The line-up for the Big Top also includes new additions Beth Jeans Houghton on Saturday The Arcadian Kicks on Friday, and on Sunday there's improvisational comedy from The Oxford Imps.

There's also more comedy acts announced with Tony Cowards, Ben Davids, Darren Harriott, and Nathan Caton all confirmed for the Comedy stage in association with eFestivals.co.uk.

The festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire has already announced that Levellers will headline on Friday, Happy Mondays on Saturday, with Seth Lakeman taking the headline spot on Sunday evening. Also confirmed are Dreadzone, The South (formerly Beautiful South), Toumani Diabate, King Creosote, 12 Stone Toddler, One String Loose, Pauline Black, The Selecter, The Leisure Society, John Smith, and Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds also confirmed. For young Wychwooders CBeebies superstar Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble who will be waking festival goers up on Sunday morning on the main stage. Bring your best singalong voices, dancing feet, and your favourite fancy dress costumes.

Day tickets for Wychwood are now available. Friday tickets are priced at £35 for adults, and £22 for Youth/Concession tickets. Saturday tickets are priced at £50 for adults, and £37 for Youth/Concession. Sunday tickets are priced at £40 for adults, and £27 for Youth/Concession. Day tickets for teens aged 10-15 years old are priced at £20 for any day. Children aged under 10 years can attend for free, but need to be accompanied by a grown up.

Adult weekend tickets for the festival, which happens from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June, are priced at £110, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £85, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £50 with all children aged under 10 able to attend for free (Max 2 per adult) then £10 for each additional child. Disabled 2 for 1 weekend tickets are priced at £110.

This year Wychwood will be introducing a small charge for camping for the concession and adult tickets. A weekend camping pass is priced at £20, a concession/youth weekend camping pass is available at a price of £10. Children under 15 can camp for free, live in vehicle/campervan passes are priced at £40 (in addition to a camping pass for each person). Wychwood will offer the usual quality of campsite facilities and in 2010 the showers will be free.
