Doves
V Festival has announced two new additions to the line-up for this year's event which takes place on Saturday 21st and 22nd August 2010 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire. Mancunian indie rockers Doves and electro popstar Calvin Harris have joined the bill on the 4 Music stage.

This year festival goers can get their hands on coach and festival tickets in one transaction by purchasing via Big Green Coach, www.biggreencoach.co.uk, who will also be helping festival- goers reduce their carbon footprint to the festival.

Festival Director, Bob Angus said, "We're hugely excited to add Doves and Calvin Harris to the bill. We're really pleased with the strength of the 4 Music stage with headliners The Prodigy and David Guetta, supported by Florence And the Machine.

"We're also proud to have Big Green Coach on board for this year's festival. Not only will they help make fans lives easier when thinking about buying tickets and travel but they will be helping to reduce people's carbon footprint to the festival via their involvement in the Trees for City scheme – planting a tree for every coach to the festival."

Kasabian and Kings of Leon headline the line-up with Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, David Guetta, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Paolo Nutini, Florence And The Machine, Pet Shop Boys, Cheryl Cole, Madness, Editors, White Lies, Mika, Groove Armada, The Courteeners, The Charlatans, The Temper Trap, Amy Macdonald, Goldfrapp, Shed Seven, Newton Faulkner, La Roux, Skunk Anansie, Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes, and Pixie Lott also confirmed. There are still many more to be announced.

Tickets will be priced at £165 for A weekend pass with camping, £140 for a weekend pass without camping, and £78.50 for a day ticket.

Tickets for either festival go on general sale from 9am this Friday, 5th March and eFestivals will have links to buy them from official outlets then.

Festival organisers are advising fans to purchase them quickly to avoid disappointment, but only from official outlets. Do not purchase tickets from unofficial or secondary ticket outlets or auction sites as they often are unable to supply the tickets, and might not even give you a refund - there's lots of dodgy operators out there!
