Eden Sessions add Calvin Harris, and Audio Bullys

Wednesday 10th March 2010

Calvin Harris, and Audio Bullys are the latest acts to be confirmed to play Cornwall's Eden Sessions.

Calvin Harris
Electropop star Calvin Harris will play the Eden Project stage with special guests Audio Bullys on Saturday July 3 2010. Calvin, a singer-songwriter, record producer and DJ has had two solo albums - 'I Created Disco' and the UK number one 'Ready for the Weekend' - featuring singles 'Acceptable in the 80s', 'The Girls', 'I'm Not Alone' as well as the title track from his second record. Audio Bullys, also known as Simon Franks and Tom Dinsdale, released their 2003 debut 'Ego War' and followed it in 2005 with 'Generation' featuring probably their most famous tune to date - the Nancy Sinatra-sampling 'Shot You Down', which hit number 3 in the UK singles chart. Following a break Audio Bullys will be releasing their long-anticipated third album 'Higher Than the Eiffel' at the end of this month, promising a fresh sound and an exciting live show to accompany it.

Tickets will be priced at £35 and will go on sale at 6pm on Tuesday 16th March, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then. The other two Sessions acts have not yet been revealed.

Jack Johnson, Doves, and Mika are already confirmed as headline artists for this year's other Eden Sessions. Jack Johnson tickets have sold out, to buy Mika or Doves tickets click here.

The Sessions are famed not only for bringing top acts to Cornwall but also for their festival feel, with extra bands and entertainers playing around the site in the run-up to the main event. Massage and alternative therapies will also be showcased around Eden on the day of each Session.
