Eminem, Muse, Kasabian, and Jay-Z confirmed for Oxegen

first acts announced for Punchestown Racecourse

Eminem, Muse, Kasabian, and Jay-Z are amongst the first acts announced for Oxegen Ireland's annual three day multi-stage music festival weekend which returns to Punchestown Racecourse, Naas from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th July 2010.

Eminem
Eminem will be closing Oxegen with a mainstage headline set. It's Eminem's first appearance in Ireland since his sold out shows to over 200,000 fans in Marley Park in 2004. Eminem will be performing with a live band, bringing a new and different level of intensity to his music. He will also be joined on by his group D12.

Eminem, Muse, Kasabian, and Jay-Z, will be joined by Black Eyed Peas, The Prodigy, Florence and The Machine, Paolo Nutini, Faithless, Stereophonics, David Guetta, Vampire Weekend, John Mayer, Calvin Harris, Newton Faulkner, Mumford & Sons, Hot Chip, Gossip, The Temper Trap, Empire Of The Sun, Goldfrapp, La Roux, Wolfmother, Rise Against, The Coral, Broken Social Scene, Ellie Goulding, and Two Door Cinema Club.

The dance line-up includes Armand Van Helden, Steve Angello, Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan, Steve Aoki, A-Trak, and Aeroplane.

Tickets are not currently available, and will go on sale at 8am on Friday 12th March 2010 and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Tickets will be priced at €199.50 for a 3 day NO camping ticket or €224.50 with camping. For an extra €20 fans can purchase a 4 day ticket including camping which includes the Thursday also. A campervan ticket is priced at €60 (must be purchased with a 3 or 4 day camping ticket). Day tickets for Friday or Saturday will be priced at €99.50.

Campers can get a free onsite parking ticket with every four camping tickets purchased. Attendees must have an Oxegen parking ticket and Oxegen camping tickets in order to park at the Oxegen site.

NOTE:- AGE RESTRICTIONS. Strictly 17s and over only - ID required and will be checked vigorously before entry. Under 17's will only be admitted if accompanied by guardian/friend/relative 25 years or over who will sign for and accept responsibility for said person. Policy will be strictly enforced - persons who purchase and ignore conditions will be refused entry with NO refund.
