eFestivals can exclusively reveal that Seth Lakeman, will be taking the headline spot on Sunday evening at Wychwood Festival this June.

High-energy, Indie-folk star Seth Lakeman has been announced as the headline act on Sunday evening. The Mercury nominee has been credited with bringing folk music to a new audience, and will be climaxing the festival with a live performances full of raw, rhythmic energy.

Opening the main stage on Friday are Glastonbury New Talent winners, and Wychwood regulars The Travelling Band, and first on the main stage on Saturday will be melodic Liverpool rockers Sleeping with the Fishes.

Confirmed for the Big Top is energetic pop oddball John Otway on Saturday, and Los Angeles based TunnelMental Experimental Assembly on Friday.

There's also more acts announced for the programme of comedic entertainment in association with eFestivals.co.uk. Headlining the night of mirth on Saturday will be comedian, actor and writer Robin Ince, MC for Saturday night will be comic Rob Broderick, and on Sunday, the very talented Pete Johansson will be taking to the stage.

There also more authors announced for the Kids Literature Festival, joining the already announced Ian Whybrow, Philip Ardagh the award-winning author of the Eddie Dickens adventures makes a return to Wychwood. Also confirmed is Linda Chapman, author of the My Secret Unicorn series, the Stardust series, the Not Quite a Mermaid series and two novels for Puffin - Bright Lights and Centre Stage. Linda will be bringing her new series, 'Skating School' to Wychwood this year. Concluding the latest raft of new additions to the line-up is Cheltenham-based author and illustrator Sally Grindley. Sally's latest novel 'Bitter Chocolate' is out in June 2010.

The festival at Cheltenham Racecourse, in Gloucestershire has already announced that Levellers will headline on Friday, Happy Mondays on Saturday, with Dreadzone, The South (formerly Beautiful South), Toumani Diabate, King Creosote, 12 Stone Toddler, One String Loose, Pauline Black, The Selecter, The Leisure Society, John Smith, and Adrian Edmondson & The Bad Shepherds also confirmed. For young Wychwooders CBeebies superstar Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble who will be waking festival goers up on Sunday morning on the main stage. Bring your best singalong voices, dancing feet, and your favourite fancy dress costumes.

Day tickets for Wychwood are now available. Friday tickets are priced at £35 for adults, and £22 for Youth/Concession tickets. Saturday tickets are priced at £50 for adults, and £37 for Youth/Concession. Sunday tickets are priced at £40 for adults, and £27 for Youth/Concession. Day tickets for teens aged 10-15 years old are priced at £20 for any day. Children aged under 10 years can attend for free, but need to be accompanied by a grown up.

Adult weekend tickets for the festival, which happens from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June, are priced at £110, youth (aged 16-18)/concession weekend tickets are priced at £85, and 10-15 year old weekend tickets are priced at £50 with all children aged under 10 able to attend for free (Max 2 per adult) then £10 for each additional child. Disabled 2 for 1 weekend tickets are priced at £110.

This year Wychwood will be introducing a small charge for camping for the concession and adult tickets. A weekend camping pass is priced at £20, a concession/youth weekend camping pass is available at a price of £10. Children under 15 can camp for free, live in vehicle/campervan passes are priced at £40 (in addition to a camping pass for each person). Wychwood will offer the usual quality of campsite facilities and in 2010 the showers will be free.
